The Ranch Suites had the pleasure of welcoming back Hunters for Heroes DFW chapter. Such great fellowship and fishing! This has turned into a great event we look forward to each year. We are blessed and thankful for all of our Veterans and everything they did and do for us and our country.
Our amazing manager Janna welcomed the hunters with a delicious homemade cake with the Texas Hunters for Heroes logo.
This year Hunter for Heroes DFW Chapter Director Tim Weiland "Gunny" was able to bring guest of honor, Mr. James A. Krodel, a WWII Veteran, and his wife Mary. What a honor to meet them and listen to his story. Mr Krodel is currently a chaplain and was presented with a cross containing sand from WWII.
They had a great time fishing hundreds of fish a Cedar Creek Lake. The fish fry was excellent and relaxing. It was a great time to continue the brotherhood among heroes...
