We were fleeing Hurricane Irma. I showed up on their doorstep late at night with a sick 120 lb. German Shepard. I was exhausted, scared, and desperate to find a place to stay. Not only did they give me a room, but they provided dinner for us. I woke up the next morning to be offered breakfast and a week at a deeply discounted price I could afford. What was a flee to safety turned into a wonderful vacation, due solely to this extremely wonderful place. It is out in the country on a country highway with beautiful trees and scenery. I enjoyed just sitting out on the patio taking in nature. The rooms were extremely neat and clean. Very well stocked. I could have lived in that room long term! And the staff was beyond helpful and friendly. I could not recommend this place more. The recreational lake nearby offered so many activities. Despite the fact that a hurricane was going on back home, this place allowed me to relax and enjoy myself. A trip that I thought was going to be a nightmare turned into to heaven because of this wonderful little place. - R. A.
